Poster Competition 2006/07
 

This years National Poster Competition was launched in Dubin by celebrity artist Frank Clarke and President of the Irish League of Credit Unions, Mrs Ann O'Bryne.

The theme for this years competition was 'Credit Unions: Making a World of Difference'.

The winning posters were selected and sent to the next level. We had a month-long exhibition of the other entries around the walls of the credit union.

Pupils from several local schools took part in this years competition. The picture on the right includes some of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

First place winners were sent to Chapter Level to be judged again.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and thankyou for you wonderful entries.

 

 

 

Class 3 of Downpatrick Primary Schools MLD Unit was selected by Chapter Level to go through to the finals in Dublin.

We later were informed that Class 3's entry was awarded a runner-up prize and we were invited to the exhibition and awards ceremony in Dublin.

 
 
Class 3 outside the Gresham Hotel in Dublin where the prize giving and first exhibition of the posters was held on Sunday 4th February 2007.
 
     
Class 3 stand beneath their enrty, which was made up of jig-saw pieces, each showing a different element of the credit union, savings, loans, charity etc. under the heading; It all fits together with the credit union.
 
 
   
     
   
     

The members of the team were:
